Kill them. Return to the first floor and kill more Doppelgangers. Go downstairs AR into the basement and kill the Doppelganger. Talk to Jhasso and say you are there to rescue him. Return to Scar. He will then give you the Ogre Mage mission. Raid the rack and two locked cases.

You must have already spoken to Scar and finished the Seven Suns quest. Talk to Scar. He wants you to kill a monster Ogre Mage in the Sewers. Return to Scar with the Ogre Mage's ring. You have 10 days to do this. Once you have completed the mission Scar will ask to talk to you outside. Follow him. He will ask you to talk to Duke Eltan. Go upstairs to the second floor AR Talk to Duke Eltan.

He wants you to investigate the Iron Throne. If you refuse to answer his questions or are uncooperative he will kill you. You can pickpocket Eltan. Return once you have obtained the revealing letters. Again, if you are uncooperative Duke Eltan will kill you. Otherwise he will teleport you to Candlekeep so ensure you have completed everything you want to do by this stage.

Chapter 6 will begin. You cannot recruit him at all if your NPC Reaction is If you don't want him in your party immediately then you should postpone talking to him until you are ready to recruit him. PS: speaking to the Duke will result in your being sent automatically to candlecliff, so imho first stop and sell your loot, buy resupplies and refresh your spells sleep before reporting in. April in Need Help with Ok so I have Duke Eltan ready to send me to Candlekeep but he told me to check in with Scar before we leave however I can't find the man anywhere. I have looked through the entire Flaming Fist Castle and any surrounding areas, and have even waited a day and returned to no avail.

Any clues on where I can find him so I can move onto the next phase of the adventure?
